Afternoon Pottery Class: 8 Weeks

Open studio: Additional 2-hour open studio slots are available exclusively for students and members currently registered in an ongoing session. These can be booked under the 2-Hour Open Studio product on our website.

The perfect way to decompress after work! Come on your own for some quiet time, or sign up with a friend to share this experience.

Swap your screen for clay and engage with your creativity! This 8-week course is designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamental techniques of the potter's wheel in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Some basic handbuilding techniques will also be shown to those who are interested. 

Over the 8 weeks (2.5 h per week), you will learn how to center clay on the wheel and shape your functional pieces: cups, bowls, small planters and vases. You can chose from variety of different types of clay and will have access to our in-studio made glazes. The final week will be entirely dedicated to glazing—the essential step that brings life and color to your work. All levels welcome.

Please be advised that the scheduled duration encompasses a 30-minute window dedicated to cleanup. Owing to limited capacity, we request that guests arrive no sooner than five minutes prior to the commencement of the program.
