Intro To Wheel Throwing Workshop

Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop at our sunny Montreal studios.

This 2-hour pottery class is designed specifically for absolute beginners. You’ll learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing—from centering the clay to pulling up the walls of your very first bowl or cylinder. It’s tactile, it’s fun, and it’s the perfect introduction to Montreal pottery. Minmimum age 11 years old.

The Goal: Create and keep one (1) of your favourite pieces.

The Perk: We handle the glazing and firing for you—just pick up your finished work 4 to 5 weeks later. All work is glazed in transparent glaze. 

The Vibe: We are creative, social and engaging pottery studio.

Extra: If you wish to keep more pieces, it is possible with an additional cost of $ 12 / piece.

To make the most of your class: arrive with short nails, remove all jewelry, and wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. If you are reserving for a young child, the child must be able to reach the floor with their feet, while seated on the chair.

Cleaning: We know this is not fun, but we need to clean our stations and leave the space the way we found it, this is why the scheduled duration encompasses a 15-20-minute window dedicated to cleanup. Also, owing to limited capacity, we request that guests arrive no sooner than five minutes prior to the commencement of the program.
